Emmett Culligan founded the company in 1936. Our local dealership has served Pike & Wayne County since 1962.

In 1936, Emmett Culligan started his company in Northbrook, Illinois, with the objective of providing homeowners with cleaner, softer water. The Catskill Formation bedrock underlying much of Pike and Wayne Counties typically produces hard, acidic water that benefits significantly from treatment. The 'Hey Culligan Man!' campaign later established the brand's national recognition. Currently, Culligan operates in more than 90 countries.
