Aquasential® High-Efficiency Whole-Home Water Filter
Whole-home filtration handles chlorine, taste, odor, and sediment. Designed and sized to pair with a water softener.
Chlorine is introduced to municipal water for disinfection, particularly in municipal supplies in boroughs like Honesdale and Milford. This filter removes chlorine, improving taste and odor throughout the entire house. For well water systems, this unit can be configured to remove sediment, iron, sulfur, or address other specific water quality identified in your water test. Acidic water, common in wells tapping the Catskill Formation across Pike & Wayne counties, can be neutralized.
Configurable Media Options
The Aquasential® High-Efficiency Whole Home Water Filter uses specific filtration media tailored to the water's chemistry. This allows precise treatment for common residential water problems.
- Carbon: Removes chlorine, chemical tastes, and odors.
- Air-injection Oxidizing: Effective for iron and hydrogen sulfide (sulfur) removal. Over half of Pike County wells exceed nuisance iron levels.
- Calcite: Neutralizes low pH in acidic water, which can protect plumbing from corrosion. Acidic well water (pH below 6.5) is widespread in the region.
- Specialty Media: Targets specific contaminants such as PFAS, arsenic, or other identified issues.
